Before You Print
- Not legal advice. This is a general form. For your own situation, consult a lawyer, especially if your case is unusual or a lot of money is involved.
- It does not need a notary to be valid. Sign it, and keep a signed copy.
- Make two copies: one for the tenant and one for the landlord.
- This is a private receipt between landlord and tenant. A landlord registered with the BIR must also give the BIR-registered invoice or receipt the tax rules require. This form does not replace it.
- For the lease itself, see the Contract of Lease. For a deposit or advance, the Acknowledgment Receipt fits better.
